Planning and Zoning committee will post activities within the township
to let everyone know what's going on.
Road Commissioner mentioned about getting clerical help within the Road District and Supervisor with the website.
Supervisor mentioned that the Heisner property is asking $300,000.00 and it was appraised at $269,000.00
There is a meeting set up for June 24th 2008 at 7:30 p.m. to go over the appraisal. It will be posted in the local newspaper.

"Guest" brought up some idea of possible Grants available and will try to get the county to put up a 4-way stop at Will Center Road and Beecher Road.
Traffic count was done on some of Will Township Roads by Gewalt Hamilton associates.
Township Supervisor has permission from electors from Annual Town Meeting to get appraisal on Heisner Property to the East of Township Building.
April 1st, 2008
Dave Fazzini read a letter about the road condition in Will Township. They want their road tar and chipped, because of all the traffic so they say. They have a petition of 100 signatures.
"Guest" talked about the condition of roads because of the need of gravel for the potholes. He also said he would help with labor or put it on a referendum. "Guest" said he would buy stone and haul it free.
Supervisor talked about the 2008-2009 goals for the roads in Will Township. One is Harlem Ave. for 2 miles to be tar and chipped. He also talked about the traffic with the high speed and heavy trucks.
"Guest" talked about the gravel over the slag by his house.
Road Commissioner talked about "Guest" from Evergreen Sod Farm who gave a $1000.00 for gravel.
Supervisor talked about the impact fees and the need to get more tax money from the county.
Road Commissioner talked about the county increase in taxes and that it wasn't divided up equally.

Dave Fazzini talked about the road conditions, potholes and traffic on Egyptian Trail.
2 "Guests" talked about the grading roads or what it would take to fix the roads. They also talked about guard rails on Egyptian Trail that someone hit.
ESDA coordinate Trustee said he is working on an alert system. More to come later.
February 12th, 2008
Road Commissioner is starting to gather information on stone, oil and material needed to redo Harlem Ave. with either tar and chip or blacktop. He is going to see if Peotone and Beecher townships with assist in the project.
Supervisor wrote a note in the Peotone Vedette to IDOT on their destroying house in the airport property and the state purchased it for $510,000.00 which included 10 acres house and shed and then destroyed it for $9000.

The Fazzini family, residents on Egyptian Trail was concerned about snow removal early in the morning.
Supervisors mission statement for Will Township is that we would like to see all roads that are tar and chipped tied together according to population.
Assessor was at a meeting in Joliet, Illinois on aerial photography. The program can zoom in on an object and get the dimensions of that object. (Shed, house, property line, etc..).

2 "Guests" talked about Harlem Ave. and it's condition and potholes, and in need of gravel.
Road Commissioner said by 2009 all signs in township have to be up to date.
Transfer $10,000.00 to road district fund from the town fund per directed from the annual meeting.

All Board Members were present for this meeting Except Clerk Glenn Ginder and Roads Commissioner Bruce Hamann.
"Guest" wanted to know what was being done to eliminate dust and snow problems on Crawford by his house.
Stella noted some complaints from people regarding taxes, also that Pam Mcguire offered to talk to seniors on new tax schedule.
New business included discussion of comprehensive plan. Supervisor will set up meeting with Gene Maves and plan commission.

Guest mentioned about dust control around Corning and Crawford.

Road Commissioner mentioned that Ridgeland is annexed to the village of Peotone.

Supervisor went on line to Illinois Farm Bureau website and found the whole state is under assessment review and that Will Township raised value is $3,000,000. This is one of Governors ways of raising more revenue for the state.
"Guest" brought pictures of Harlem Ave. about the condition of dust, dirt, and traffic.
July 3th, 2007
The Kankakee Journal surveyed people and found 54% for Bult airport and 46% against.
Trustee mentioned July 11, 2007 was the emergency meeting and he would attend.
Jim Bult said his trucks, equipment, and men would help redo Kedzie Ave.
Any tire damage claims from Harlen Ave. would be paid by Will Township up to $500.00.
2 checks received for $1,005.55 and $2000.00 from the county for lost airport property.
June 5th, 2007
Road Commissioner will call the county highway department to have a traffic count and to post speed signs on Harlem Ave.
Jim Bult now has his certification permit for Bult Field.
May 5th, 2007
"Guest" lives on Harlem Ave. he complained about the road conditions dust, potholes and loose gravel to the board.
Supervisor said there is no certification for Bult Field as of May 2, 2007.
